Zach graduated in May 2017 with Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and a Minor in Technology, Arts, and Media,TAM, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Zach's major has an empathsis on Human Centered Computing

Zach started working as a drive-thru leader dedicated to improving the long-term customer experience. He loved working to improve people's experiences with tech so much that he moved into an IT role. He now works at a research lab dedicated towards improving the K-12 Computer Science education as the UI/UX Designer. These roles taught him the importance of teamwork, data-analysis, and empathy.

For Zach, being a successful leader means to empower others and to do more and bringing people with him on the road to success. It might sound cheesy ,but Zach has proven that this method is successful through a student group he lead. Membership quadupled under him and the budget also quadupled.

Zach likes to help with many causes. He's helped organize a hackathon. He's tutored for free at low-income schools in math and physics. He also was president of oSTEM @ CU Boulder (formerly SAGE) for the 2016-2017 academic year. He's always looking for ways to help his community.
